Oh yeah baby! I got her. A pink Honda Fit!! Not the new one pictured in my post but it’s close enough. 🙂 She’s a beaut and all mine, mine, mine! We did the paperwork yesterday and I will hopefully have her by Wednesday. (Maybe Tuesday if I am lucky.) No worries, this gives me time to think of a name and surf the net for some sweet decals. Oh yeah, I am gonna pimp her out “pink girly girl” style so HB and the boys won’t wanna drive her 5 feet. LoL There will not be many “I need to borrow your car” coming my way. 😉 Oh you should see what she can do. She’s small but roomy. The back seats fold up and lay flat so I will have plenty of room for whatever I may buy, lugging around scuba gear (yep, gotta get some of that once I take my course), and even taking the dogs. I did a small dance in the car lot as we left. She’s mine and she’s purty!
We are finally getting through all the boxes. There are only 2 small ones left in the living room to unpack, the kitchen is done (still needs some final sorting/putting away), and the kids rooms are mostly complete. We still have our room (good grief…who knew shoes took up so much box room!) and the dining room to tackle. I’m not sweating it though. We have accomplished a heck of a lot in a few days time: cable/internet-check, microwave purchased-check, 3/4 of the boxes unpacked and put away-check, cars-check, Christmas decorating started-check, laundry started-check, kids in school-double check!
So, I’m not overly witty today…the coffee hasn’t kicked in and it’s a tad dreary out. Therefore I will cram this thing full of photos of the house (pre-move in). (Steve…no more grief over pictures!) Hopefully we will get to venture off the base a bit more very soon. I’m itching to check out the sea wall and “American Village.” Maybe grab a Japanese version Starbucks. 😉
So, there it is…a peak into our new home. It’s smaller than what we had but they make use of the space! I’m pretty tall for a gal but I’m gonna need a step stool for my kitchen! Those cabinets go to the top…all the way to the top. And we have closets that could almost be a room (almost). (Not pictured)
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! It looks like ours will be a wet one…it’s still raining. (It started yesterday around noon and hasn’t quit since.)
P.S. Check out this blog hop to enjoy some other interesting insights/weekend happenings. 🙂
